January Contemplations: The Art of Self-Acceptance

January Contemplations: The Art of Self-Acceptance
I wish I saw life in monochrome.
I wish I believed only in the solid matter.
I wish I could put ‘reason’ on pedestal and waste no time trying to solve the puzzle - ‘life’
I wish my mind could switch off the moment the ‘X factor’ tune comes on.
I wish my curiosity ended right there - when the next BIG TALENT’s get finally revealed.
I wish I didn’t see time as enemy.
I wish my wanderlust and crave for excitement weren’t so deeply ingrained in my mind.
Yes, I wish leading simple and uncomplicated life was luring enough.JDYBRANDY Skater Skirt (here) // Miss Selfridge Bag (here) // Faux-fur Jacket BCBGeneration (here) // Nelly Stiletto Boot (here) // Urban Outfitters Sweater (here)//Shades: Berenford Eyewear (here)
And yet, if any of those wishes magically turned into reality, then I’d have to start introducing myself straight from scratch. Coz..
‘Being’ is an ‘art’.
The art of self-acceptance.
Acceptance of the chaos in your mind.
Of your Crazy Dreams.
Fighting Thoughts.
Exhausting Doubts.
Self-inflicted Insecurities.
& Divine Imperfections.
Yesterday I was told that I was a little bit mental. You know ‘crazy’ in the best possible way.
I was told that the way I saw life was pretty outstanding.
That my beliefs surpass religion, coincidences, and the idea that ‘things happen for a reason’.
And I was told that precisely coz of that I have won a great new friend.
So I wish no more to change.
Me is that ‘optimist’ who wouldn’t let you doubt yourself.
Me is your friend who believes in quantum physics, law of attraction and all that.
Me sees life as s colour clay that could be dyed in zillion colours and take any of the shape your crave.
