A SHOUT-OUT TO YOU BOYS: WHY DATING THE 'COOL GIRL' IS NOT COOL AT ALL

MY 3 WINTER SKIN CARE ESSENTIALS FOR WHEN YOU HIT THE SLOPES

MY 3 WINTER SKIN CARE ESSENTIALS FOR WHEN YOU HIT THE SLOPES

Hey hey! I literally can?t believe the past 4 days! The girls and I went on a quick getaway weekend in the mountains and, Gosh, we had a blast!
And weirdly, even though it was 11 of us in one place – it was all jokes, delicious food, great music and tons of wine. We totally turned the stereotypes on their heads and proved that girls can have  banter rather than drama. To be quite honest, it was surprising for me too, especially as I’ve never  been on a vacation with that many girls. And it was precisely our ‘feminine’ habits that triggered most of the jokes. Some of us would put make up on, or cheekily leave the main room to sort out our hair, with the while the others indulging in their seventh glass of wine with their comfiest pants on and 100% natural face. But you know.. you can never know :)))
Well, while sipping red wine near the fireplace, I posted a photo of the Holy Trio or the 3 winter skincare essentials that I’d taken with me to ensure that my dry skin wouldn’t get even drier. Below you can get a sneak peek at my three all-time favourite skin-care products  that are literally life-savers when it comes to overly dry and itchy skin. (And mine ? as I?ve mentioned before is precisely that: more about my skin care routine: here).
L’OCCITANE ALMOND SUPPLE SKIN OIL (HERE)
I got a box filled with L?occitane skincare products for Christmas (Thank you, F.!!!) and quite frankly, it?s never crossed my mind how exceptional they could actually be! Even though all of them work wonders on my dry skin, it’s their ALMOND SUPPLE SKIN OIL that impressed me the most. And where should I start from really? Its signature scent rests on my skin for hours, while its moisturising formula helps me get this baby soft skin. Say no more, right? Since I’ve started nourishing my skin with this almond miracle my skin no longer gets dry and peely after I come out of the shower. For even better results I suggest you lay your hands on their Almond Shower Oil too!

AVENE CICALFATE CREME MAINS REPARATRICE CICALFATE HAND REPAIR CREAM (HERE)

What about my hands? Okay ? it?s my hands which look (and feel) the worst during the cold winter days. They get so irritated and dry that the whole ?maintain perfect manicure at all times’  becomes quite pointless. So, during winter, I’d instead spend quite some time on taking care of the skin of my hands and keep them moist and soft and only then turn my attention to the shape of my nails. Actually, it was thanks to my mom that I stumbled upon this product. A few days after Christmas I spotted the creme in her beauty cupboard, and decided to cheekily steal it. Sorry mom! Anyway, I’ve been repurchasing AVENE CICALFATE CREME ever since. Even though it’s fragrance-free which would normally annoy me (however, great news for you, boys), its thick formula is precisely what my overly dry and sensitive hands were in a desperate need of. And that’s the thing – you need to apply only a tiny little bit of it to instantaneously get overly soft and instagram-worhty hands! So if you’re in the search of a hand cream that’s a miracle-worker  – AVENE CICALFATE CREME it is!
A-DERMA HYDRALBA RICH HYDRATING CREAM (HERE) / REVIEW (HERE

Of course, how could I leave without my all time favourite moisturiser A-DERMA HYDRALBA RICH HYDRATING CREAM in my bag? I’ve done a detailed review on the product here . The creme lubricates the skin and keeps it hydrated for hours no matter the extreme weather conditions outside! The product comes in light and rich hydrating version (personally, I’d go for the Rich).   You can also get it with SPF which is
great news for all of you fellow ski/snowboarders out there!

And you, which are your top 3 moisturising products during winter?
Lots of love,

A.
