When you’re about to spend most of your day on your bike, believe me, the last thing that will cross your mind is stepping out in high heels. Yep, Copenhagen-ers might be able to cycle in stilettos, but then, they’re literally born and bred on a bicycle ? so, you know, they?re kina allowed to multitask while cycling – send texts, listen to music, balance out a few shopping bags, with their little one on the back seat, and do that like a boss hands free.

Me? MOST DEFINITELY NOT. And that for the sake of all the other cyclists, drivers… and pedestrians for that matter.
So, yeah, still being a dodgy cyclist + being overly conscious not to lose my shoe while pedalling (and let it be run over by a car and that?s in the best case scenario), I?ve been sensible!!! enough to wear my sneakers instead.
So, that?s me today ? mixing and matching casual clothes with more elegant and chic ones. And, honestly, back home, it would’ve never crossed my mind that I’d be EVER able to pull off such an effortlessly chic look. Guess what ? not only do I like it, but I can also totally get why Scandinavian fashionistas dress up like that ? it’s right in the middle of masculine and feminine (which is kinda hot) + it certainly proves that they have an eye for styling their wardrobe. So a few days ago I had to come up with a smart-ish outfit to wear when handing in my job application at ?The Cloakroom’s’ office (more about it here). Any thoughts?
Oh, and please notice my skirt, wait I mean ‘skort’.
Unfortunately, rocking a mini while cycling isn?t the wisest idea. This is why I was so happy to see that I?ve taken with me my ?skirt?, which while elegant and smart enough is also the perfect choice for a cyclist like me!
