October Favourites 2014

Honestly, up until this year, I’ve never understood the hype that surrounds the month of October. 

I’ve always associated October and November with transition - you know, from the hot summer days to the festive cosy winter. Not this year. This year, October was quite whimsical for me and while reminiscing about the great moments I've had, I felt inspired to share with you a few things that impressed me over the last few weeks.

The Fairytale Trend and the 'Silver Riding Hood' Who Came to Life 

When I first got a peek at Dolce and Gabbana’s Fall-Winter 2014/15 Collection ‘Once upon a time’ started echoing inside my head. The designers have managed to recreate the mood of our favourite fairytales, with the models rocking the catwalk in embroidered black mini dresses, with fur hoods touching their backs, and animals staring directly at you from colourful prints placed all over impeccably crafted lace shift dresses.
