Her First.
It all began during her early teenage years. Back than she was still a hopeless romantic in the way she thought about love, and yet quite reserved when it actually came to establishing an intimate bond. Probably that?s why she lost her virginity at such an adultery age. But that?s the thing – being impulsive and rash was never really to her taste.
She always felt rather self-conscious when she was around her peers. It seemed as if she was a 40 (something) year old trapped in the body of a kid. And every time her classmates cooked yet another childish prank, she?d stare at them completely oblivious to how she should react. Did she have to pretend that she found their actions funny, or was it better to express how she truly felt?
But then she knew – being arrogant at such an age was certainly not the wisest way to be. And it took no time for her to grasp that if she wanted to have friends she had to try harder to make her way in.
And that?s when she first gave it a try. It was white, light, cheeky & cool. She found it in her mother?s wardrobe and it fit her face perfectly fine. It made her feel adequate when she was at school now strolling down the halls with that charming smirk? She  finally managed to trick her mates think that she considered their behaviour as rather cool.
She would take down her disguise only when she was at home and snap back to being her authentic self. She?d spend hours in her room, reading about life & love and everything that one day she could potentially stumble upon.
She would often try to have a chat with her mom, but yet always end up feeling distant and aloof. And while she felt the urge to share all that she was going through, she often ended up staying alone dissecting every inch of her body instead.
She craved to gain control over the emotions she had and at all times be aware of the consequences any of her actions might generate.
Soon she realised that life couldn in no way be controlled and she quickly turned her attention to the only thing she could.
She?d allow herself an apple a day and assure herself that it was all under (her) control. She would excessively engage in doing sport and use her masks to hide the traces of fatigue. And while strolling down with a cheery grin, her body had already begun to disappear. Only a pound or two was her ultimate goal and little did she know that her aim would end up eating up most of her youth. And while she was restraining herself from the physical pleasures of life, she was instead feeding her hunger for knowledge gulping down book after book.
The fiction became her nutrition and her room her safest shelter. The only place she would ever let loose and let her imagination run wile and evolve.
Well, it was at that time of her life when she started cooking up a secret. A secret that she?d keep until what now seems as ‘forever’.
And just like that, one day her dad requested that she jumped on the scale so that he could find out whether she was actually doing as okay as she always said. Seconds later – rash covering his body, with his muscular arms trembling like the arms of a child. His daughter had turned into a shadow in front of his eyes and it took him months to gather that her perfectionism had completely messed up her teenage mind.
