Let's Beat The Spring Fatigue!

SPRING IT UP!

SPRING IT UP!
Hey lovely peeps!
The other day I spoke about the ?Spring Fever? and shared with you my cheeky action plan for how to beat its symptoms! And as I mentioned ? I’m more than determined to take advantage of the warmer weather and swap driving with walking. And, guess what! It’s already happening, guys!

I put together a casual outfit to rock Downtown and went to meet up with a couple of friends.

JACKET: BLACK SLEEVELESS FAUX FUR VEST (HERE)
JEANS: ZARA DARK BOYFRIEND JEANS (HERE) // J BRAND Ellis Straight in Echo (HERE)
SHOES: DUNE POINTED TOE COURT SHOE (HERE)
BAG: SELECTED VINTAGE STYLE LEATHER CLUTCH (HERE)
TOP: FEDE T-Shirt with a 3D Element (HERE)
SUNGLASSES: MICHAEL KORS (HERE)
WATCH: DANIEL WELLINGTON CLASSIC TRINITY LADY (HERE)

I decided to go
sleeveless – come on! It’s Spring! plus you’re now aware of my not-so-secret addiction when it comes to everything sleeveless ! To brighten up the outfit and give it some happy-go-lucky Spring vibes, I chose a casual white top with a 3D element on it. The cute beige bow-y thing sewed by hand on its front side, gives a little extra something to the otherwise quite basic top. That’s why I love clothes with 3D elements on them – they add edginess to the outfit in a chic and sophisticated way! And, even thought I went all sleeveless and Spring-y, I knew it was a bit early to rock the ‘bare leg’ just yet, which is why I went for a pair of cigarette cut jeans by Zara instead.

Actually, I haven’t had the chance to share this with you up until now, but as I’ve received quite a few queries regarding the jeans I wear, I decided to give you some info regarding my favourite brands when it comes to the always trendy denim

As I’m quite petit, I have to be very particular when purchasing jeans in order to create the visual illusion that I’m taller and slender than I actually am. I’ve come up with a magic formula which is: I wear only cigarette/boyfriend/slim fit jeans and depending on the particular type I’m looking for – I’d be a different store.
So, when I’m in the search of the classic
slim-fit jeans then J BRAND is my primary choice. I?m actually just about to order this pair of J-Brand’s: Ellis Straight in Echo. Just imagine them paired with some nude stilettos!
When I visited New York I also fell in love with American Eagle Outfitters and their loose fit boyfriend jeans! The AEO boyfriend jeans I own are actually the first pair of loose jeans that actually fit my petite figure – great news for a midget like me, don’t you think?
And of course, Zara and Pull & Bear are the brands I’d turn to when I’m in a desperate need of just a pair of jeans that would actually fit. Honestly, you might think I’m exaggerating, but if you’ve ever seen me in person, you’d know that for me finding jeans that look good on me is a pretty difficult, scratch that, impossible to do.

To add some chicness to this Spring look – I went for a pair of comfy high heel pumps (so that I can actually stroll around the city) as well as a bright red – kind of coral – lipstick. Aw… and of course my biggest smile! That’s something I actually forgot to mention in my Monday’s article – if you also feel that your hormones are going crazy as a result of the ‘Spring Fever‘ – try AND FLASH A SMILE! Sometimes all you need to do is force the first one to start seeing your surroundings in a bit sunnier and positive way.
P.S. Which are you favourite brands when it comes to denim?
Lots of love,
A.
