A Wink From Paradise: Polynesian Monoi Radiance Oil by The Body Shop

polynesian_oil_body_shopA Wink From Paradise: Polynesian Monoi Radiance Oil by The Body Shop
I’ve been working at The Body Shop for more than 4 months now, and it took me around 120 days to figure out which products appeal to me the most (yep, yep, the indecisive me). On this ‘hygge’ Sunday, I’m sharing with you a beauty product that managed to immediately win me over: Polynesian Monoi Radiance Oil part of their Spa Of The World collection.
The packaging – flawless and nothing like anything they’ve done before –  and the content? A wink from Paradise. And while the design of the bottle is pretty amazing, it’s really the concept behind all of the Spa Of The World products that makes you wanna try them. The Body Shop’s experts have selected some of the most ancient and renowned beauty rituals from across the Globe, creating products that stand as an embodiment of those rituals. And even though I’m also a fan of their revitalising and overly hydrating Dead Sea Salt Scrub, well it’s the authentic Monoi oil that wins the top place. I guess that has a lot to do also with the fact that I’ve been a firm believer that a good oil is all the skin and hair may need (+a healthy diet) to be healthy and hydrated.
The Polynesian Monoi Radiance Oil is literally a dream come true with its subtle, yet mesmerising scent, coming from the perfect blend that the coconut and Tahitian gardenias (a.k.a. tiare flowers) make, and ability to transform the dry and dull-looking skin to radiant and glowing. Also, I’ve noticed that the elasticity of my hair has vastly improved – bye bye split ends.
I’m off for some serious Sunday chillaxation that includes a cheeky pamper session.
And you? Have you tried and of the Spa of the World products? And if so – which on is your favourite?
xoxo
A.
