THE BEST DAMN HEALTHY MOVIE SNACK
Sooo, today?s post might surprise everyone who claims to know me well. While most of you would probably happily enjoy a cosy night in, well for me the dream night is the one spent out with friends, you know, eating out, going to the cinema and all that. Staying in? Nah, never been mah thing.

With my hectic schedule, however, staying in has recently turned from something that would rarely take place to a MUST if I wanna stay sane. So, rather than inviting friends over or spending my free Sunday evenings out and about, I’d instead go for a cosy night in with Sparky on my lap. I?d pick a film worth watching (IOrigins, In your eyes, Imitation Game ? a few films I highly recommend) and prepare a yummy healthy movie snack to munch on. You know me – the healthy living freak :). Then I?d move to my bedroom, snuggle under the duvet and fall asleep with a book in hand.

And, even thought the blogger in me wouldn?t allow me to completely wipe myself off the grid, I’d do my best to blank my phone at least for a while. Gosh, my friends would always get so annoyed when I fail to immediately respond to their texts as that?s something that would hardly ever happen. But then it does ? during the nights I allow myself to get a break.

So? the other day, after having a pretty wicked weekend, I put my comfiest PJ?s on and took my duvet with me to the living room. With Sparky on my lap, and my all time favourite home-made healthy movie snack ? dark chocolate & sea salt drizzled popcorn ? I was all ready to finally watch the ?Imitation Game?! Say no more!

Below I?ve shared the recipe to this dark chocolate yumminess which while overly easy to prepare is so incredibly damn-licious!!!

All you need is:
1 tablespoon cold-pressed oil (I used coconut oil)
1/3 cup popcorn kernels
100 gr. good-quality dark chocolate, chopped (do you remember when we spoke about the benefits of the dark chocolate? here)
3/4 teaspoon fine sea salt, divided

Add the kernels and wait for them to start poppin’.  Shake the pan occasionally and make sure to remove it from the heat the moment you notice that the popping has slowed down to around 2/3 seconds between each POP.

Meanwhile, place the dark chocolate (70% or more if you really aim for healthy) with around 1/3 teaspoon salt in the microwave. Heat until the chocolate has turned into a liquid. Pour the melted chocolate over the popcorn and stir well so that the popcorn evenly coats. Then on a baking sheet, spread the coated popcorn and sprinkle some more salt on them.
Wait until the chocolate has completely hardened and be shy no more –  INDULGE!
