HEY YOU NEWBIE MOMS - GO FOR THE HOT PANTS.

LIFE IN SOFIA: 3 BAKERIES/CAFES I KEEP COMING BACK TO

letters-to-a-sofia-bakeriesBulgaria isn’t Sunny Beach and there is certainly more to it than its coastline.
Situated in the foothills of Vitosha Mountain, where approximately 12 years go I did my first ollie on a dopest K2 board hehe, Sofia is the underrated capital that has a lot to offer if you just give her a chance.
And now that I’m gonna spend some time here, I thought to share with you some cool places to visit if you’re planning to set foot in here anytime soon. sofia-bakeries3 Shorts by Jacqueline De Yong (here) / Top by FOREVER 21 Alternative (here)/ Bag by LEO WULFF (here) / Espadrilles by Pieces (here) / Sunglasses by LE SPECS  (here) /  Watch by ABBOTT AND MOSLEY (here)sofia-bakeries1   + TOVA  Marin Drinov Str. No 30
A hipster/artsy space which offers both a cafe area and space for various cultural activities – from exhibitions to fundraising workshops, meetings, presentations – you can see it all. A friend recommended me + TOVA and she was right – their LATTE is the best! And so is its price. And if you have a sweet tooth just like me, you will be facing a tough decision – should it the cheesecake or almond cake? Go for the BISCUIT one if you ask me! And then try all the other ones 🙂
+TOVA  next time you drop by the interior would have most probably changed.

Hlebar Oborishte Str. No 16
Denmark made a pro when it comes to bakeries. And let me tell you HleBar lives up to the Danish bakery standard, which, let’s be honest, is damn high.
Philip fell in love with their cream cheese sandwich (and industrial interior!), which is more of a cheese with bread sandwich – yep – there is a lot of cheeeeeeese on it!
‘For me?  Some scrambled eggs, a banitsa with mushrooms (I know, right?)… and a cup of cappuccino, please’

Le Salon Aux Fleurs Oborishte Str. No 37
A cute little café situated right across HleBar that has a lot to offer. From a marvellous cheese/mezze platter for all you non-breastfeeding winos, to yummy cakes, Scandinavian bruschetta topped up with salmon, of course, and a provance interior. But hey, it’s still summer, so make sure to get a table outside and order a cup of latte macchiato, while observing the passing by strangers…who sometimes walk by completely discarding your presence, or smile and cheekily say Cheers’ (Nazdrave!) 🙂 life-in-sofia Which one you would try first?

Love Sofia! So many great places with an impressive interior. The variety of places to eat and drink and visit is what I mostly miss about this city and what I wish we had more of here in Denmark! <3 Loved the post.
