Latest Beauty Crush: Body Shop’s Fresh Nude Foundation
You know me and my overly dry skin, it’s literally a nightmare when it comes to finding the right foundation that would leave my skin luminous and dewy, while also give it just enough coverage without making me look like a doll. WOW! Quite a challenge, eh?
I’d normally opt for my all time favourite Rimmel ‘Wake me up’ foundation in shade ‘Sand’ 300), but with my face becoming paler and paler (like… I live in Copenhagen now) the shade of my foundation had to also change. And while I’m still a massive fan of Rimmel and their ‘Wake Me Up’ divinity, when it comes to the shades it offers – Rimmel  miserably fails.
A few weeks ago, we got in store Body Shop‘s latest Fresh Nude Foundation and the wide range of shades it offered (15) lured me to actually give it a go. Literally, no matter whether you are with warm or cold skin tone – there would be a shade for you.
If I have to compare it to Body Shop‘s previous foundations – that one is the perfect blend between the ones they offered in the past as it both moisturises the skin (Moisture Foundation, SPF15), leaning it dewy and glowing, while also giving it just enough coverage without being too heavy on the skin (Extra Virgin Mineral Liquid Foundation, SPF20). Also, its SPF15 is certainly great news for all of us prone to blemishes.
To apply it – I normally use my Real Techniques stippling brush, as for some reason beauty blenders are just not my thing.
So well done Body Shop for stepping up your make-up game with your Fresh Nude Foundation, that also makes the skin look flawless on camera. In fact, in my first YouTube videos, I’m wearing exactly this foundation.
