#CPHFW Day 2: Circles

cphfw_street_style#CPHFW Day 2: Circles
On day 2 from #CPHFW I decided to break with the Danish monochrome tradition and go for a bit quirkier and more colourful look. I wore for my all-time favourite romper by Zara, which at first glance looks like a dress. The weather was beautiful and I spent most of my day walking around the Revolver Village, an area within the Meatpacking District, which was turned into the ?hottest? place to hang out with your buddies during Copenhagen Fashion Week SS16.cphfw_ss16_street_style

Actually, some of the best shows I attended, among which ? Ivan Grundahl?s, took place precisely there. And undoubtedly, the tent at the ?Revolver Village?, where most of the shows were held, was the best venue. Just imagine you watching the models rocking their marvelous outfits, while enjoying the sunset over Copenhagen. It just added that special twist to the whole fashion experience.

After the first few shows of the day I went back to the Business Lounge, next to City Hall, where the media correspondents were typing down their articles while enjoying yummy organic snacks. While indulging in some organic buns myself I noticed a familiar face: Ilirida Krasniqi, a Danish blogger, whose dope and quite unconventional for a Danish style I simply adore. I actually stumbled upon her blog, while researching the local Zumba scene. It turns out that apart from being a fashionista, she?s also a Zumba instructor. So the moment the Tony & Guy stylist finished doing her hair, I approached her and just like that a few minutes later we were having coffee and chatting about the possibility of going on a trip to New York together. We just instantly clicked, which reminds me of something else:

When you feel like staying at home, only ‘cos there’s noone to go with to an event ? think twice, gather up some courage and go! Some of the best contacts and friendships I built in NYC and Copenhagen were in fact established when I was all by myself either at a coffee shop or a fashion event.
So be bold, okay? Magical things might happen <3
I cannot wait to hear your thoughts on my outfit, and below – a cheeky shot I took during Ivan Grundahl’s fashion show:

Now I better get going – I’m joining for the first time Ilirida’s Zumba class! I’m so freakin’ excited!
xoxo
