Casually Danish

Letters_To_AntoinetteCasually Danish
Of course, I’m incredibly far from considering myself Danish, especially in regards to how I do things, however, when we talk about style, well, I’m slowly becoming precisely that.  Back home I’d spend most of my time in my car, trying to get to places during the rush hour, all dolled up wearing my stilettos and light spring-y attire.
Well, here, in Copenhagen things don’t really work this way, as normally I’d be either joining the other cyclists during the rush hour, or be walking to get to places. And still being the CPH newbie that I am – in my head winter & cycling just DON’T really work together.
That’s why now my stilettos are gathering dust in the closet, while I’m stocking up on new shoes – with the block heel boots (here) slowly becoming my ultimate obsession. While they’re overly comfortable to go for a stroll around the city, they also give your look that cool street edge.
Also, for a shorty like me that gets constantly pushed by the tall & slender Danes, I need some height in my life. Just saying. letters_to_antoientte2letters_to_antoinette3Outfit:

But it’s a huge challenge I assure you, to stay edgy, and yet be ‘comfortable(y)’ cool
And you? Has your style also undergone some changes recently?
